I have two minor nit-picks:

1) the slide transition that you use (checker-box down?) is not very appropriate. It confuses the reader. Have you tried other simplier ones, like "fade smoothly"?

2) I noticed that you tend to shift your buttons around (and they seem to shrink in size in a couple of later slides too?). If you could keep them consistent, it would appear more to be an interactive program than a few slides.

If you make the two adjustments I mentioned in the above, I think yours will look a lot more impressive.

Just a thought. What do you think?

Peon and Beryl, very nice slides and they can be used effectively as teaching tool. Kevin got some interesting comments and this shown good understanding of interface design issues. We have not talk much about these things in class by this stage, but I think we must look at it a bit. My main recommendation is that you need to think a bit deeply about design of representations in slightly different way. The idea of representations is not to teach what you want students to know but to be used as a tool that allows students to explore, work with information and draw their own conclusions.
